Jewellery bill calculator for your counter

Type the rate you are charging, the weight, and the making. This page does the arithmetic. It does not look up a market rate.

Bill for one piece

Pavan, sovereign and 10 grams

Example defaults only. Replace them with your board. 3% GST is applied to gold value + making + stones. A pavan or sovereign is 8 grams. Ten grams is a separate quote. A traditional tola is about 11.66 grams.

What the poster should show

The poster carries the board rate: usually 22K per gram, and either 8 grams (1 pavan or 1 sovereign) or 10 grams, depending on how your counter speaks. The bill total stays on the invoice. Mixing them is how a customer thinks the poster hid the making.

Kerala boards are written out in what a Kerala gold rate board shows. The making line is explained in making charges.

After the number is right

  1. Type that per-gram rate into Studio.
  2. Check the 8 gram or 10 gram line on the poster against this page.
  3. Share it. The poster maker prints your logo and phone number with the rate.

Questions

Does this use today’s market rate?

No. You type the rate your counter is charging. The calculator only does the multiplication.

Is 1 pavan 8 grams?

Yes. One pavan, sovereign or savaran is 8 grams. A 10 gram quote is a different line. A traditional tola is about 11.66 grams.

Is GST included?

The calculator adds 3% on gold value plus making plus stones, which is the usual jewellery bill. Confirm the invoice with your accountant.

Can I put this total on my poster?

Put the board rate on the poster. Put the total on the bill. The poster is how you announce the rate. The bill is for one piece.
