Gold rate poster for Chennai jewellery shops
T. Nagar customers already know the streets. They message you for the rate. A poster with your name, the gram rate and the sovereign rate is the reply.
T. Nagar still asks for the sovereign
Usman Road and the jewellery floors around it quote 22K per gram, and wedding families convert that into sovereigns. If the poster shows only the gram rate, the family does the × 8 on the pavement. Show both.
| Counter word | Grams | Tamil poster |
|---|---|---|
| 1 gram | 1 | இன்றைய தங்க விலை, per gram |
| 1 sovereign / savaran | 8 | 1 சவரൻ |
| Temple set or haram | Quote the gram rate, bill the weight | Shop name and number stay in your own spelling |
Pongal and the wedding calendar
The Tamil wish பொங்கல் வாழ்த்துகள் is already in Studio. Use it for Pongal and take it off. Akshaya Tritiya and the wedding months need the sovereign line every morning, with the rate you will charge that day, not the rate from a Chennai news site.
Studio is the right product for a Chennai counter that wants to post itself. Done-for-you is run for Kerala shops. Ask on WhatsApp if you want the same morning delivery.

Questions
What is a sovereign in Chennai?
8 grams, the same weight as a Kerala pavan. On a Tamil poster the 8 gram line reads 1 சவரன். Do not label it as a pavan unless your counter uses that word.
Is the Studio menu in Tamil?
No. The buttons are in English. The poster itself can use Tamil labels on the Starter plan.
Do you type the Chennai rate for me?
No. You type the rate on your board. We do not publish a city rate.
