Kerala gold rate board: gram and pavan

Quick answer

A Kerala board usually leads with 22K gold per gram and 22K gold per pavan. One pavan is 8 grams, so the pavan rate is the per-gram rate multiplied by 8. Many shops also show 18K, 24K and silver. The poster should copy those lines, in that order, with the shop’s own rate.

The lines customers look for

In Thrissur, Kochi, Kozhikode and across Kerala, the first question is the 22K gram rate. The second, especially for weddings, is the pavan rate. If the poster has the gram rate and hides the pavan rate, the customer still has to multiply.
